Aurora is the definition of beauty- skinny and p-r-e-t-t-y.
Who needs a personality when men will fall for your appearance?
Ariel is selfless and brave.
She was a one of a kind.
With a tail for legs,
Princess Ariel never thought she'd find,
A Prince Charming who loved who she really was.
Until she did, or so she thought.
“Ariel!” Prince Eric shouts to his fair maiden after Ursula kidnaps her back to the sea.
Eric jumps in the water with the appearance of aiding.
Battle after battle, breath after breath.
Dark and twisted, tentacles entwined
Dark and twisted, devious plans unravel and unwind
Mermaids will swim right in to her trap
Spells cast from her maniacal sea cave gap
Ships passed in the craggy shore
She waved and beckoned them close
But none would come to her moor
Pearled tears were her only lure
And the sailors passed her in droves
Once upon a time there lived a kind, charming merman named Ariello
whose mother was Queen Tritina, ruler of the sea
Ariello was fascinated with humans and longed to live on land
Rubies glint on the sill in the light of the sun--
A light she'd once seen through miles of murk.
"Happily ever after" she heard herself say,
While her stranger of a husband prepared for his work.
Once upon a time there was a mermaid princess
She hailed from the depths of the sea
Where her infatuation with human things was more of an obsession is my guess
Once upon a time
A mermaid was curious
About life on land
Ariel could talk
But her life would be shortened
With each word she spoke
She loved a human
eyes yearning for the horizon line
flippers longing to touch the sand
both dying to be where the other one is
family pulling her from the shore
family pulling her deeper below
they don't understand
Swimming around collecting everything I find
Things the humans dispose of when they've been declined
And then I see this man, this beautiful man who loves to dance
Under the sea is where you will find her
Along with sharks, sting rays, and other terrors.
More than such species also stir;
The most frightening is human error.
Oil spills turn oceans brown,
Once upon a time
In a land not so far away
Where the balance of good and bad
Forever sway
But what would happen
Take me to Atlantis,
the wide array of sea life.
I want to be where the merpeople are,
and sing their songs of seas.
Take me to Atlantis where I may meet my Princess,
and she will meet hers.
There once was a girl who lived in the sea.
She lived with six sisters and dad,
And though she was not sad,
She also did not find herself to be happy.
Your voice is one of the most powerful instruments you are born with,
It has both ended wars and started them all with a flick of a tongue.
It conveys our emotions and sings our songs.
Once upon a time, a baby girl was born.
Her curls were free and her eyes could smile.
A voice, so sweet, her being did adorn,
but without her legs, her life was full of trials.
I wish I were stronger—
Strong enough to kill,
To wield this blade against him
And cut a smile into his throat.
Feet that dance on knives for my sweet voice—
What is a princess?
What does she think of?
Does her mind race about the worlds beyond her,
does she wonder what the world has in store for her outside of her comfort?
What is a princess?
I watched them walk,
As they talked.
I watched them run
As they glowed in the sun.
They look so delighted
As they are free to do whatever they wanted
Whilist I am down here in the sea,
I fell in love once and that will never happen again
People say there are plenty more fish in the sea but no, not for me
See love like this was supposed to be a dream
At first it was rose petals and silver bells
I saw that the waves
Were always moving,
And always changing,
And never made
The same shape twice.
And it was beautiful,
But it was lonely,
And I thought of you.
Half fish,
Half human,
Could it get any wrose?
Half faith,
Half disbelief,
Could I really survive?
Risking my life for love,
Bringing my life to doom,
“I’ll be part of their world,” she sang and swam
To her collection of thingamabobs and
whatchamacallits and whatsits. She made
a lovely pair of legs and with a blade,
Ariel tore her torso wide. The meat
Sing in me muse, and through me
Tell the tale of a beautiful young mermaid
With hair as red as cherries,
Eyes as blue as sea,
Lips red and luscious,
Who holds big hopes and dreams.
The time I had a fever of a hundred-and-three, was when Ariel went out to sea. I was discussing with Prince Eric and Ursula about tea. The Mad Hatter's party was fun as can be, but the only thing horrid was the tea.

Darling you ran towards the bullets
Towards screaming babies who didn't know any better.
Darling you bolted towards the masked man
The mad man with bullets and homicidal rage
Darling--
