Ariel on Display

She was a one of a kind.

With a tail for legs,

Princess Ariel never thought she'd find,

A Prince Charming who loved who she really was.

Until she did, or so she thought.

He loved that she came from the sea.

So, for real love she fought,

But it wasn't their destiny.

Love made her blind,

And now to return home she begs.

Never thought he would betray,

But money and fame were above.

So, she was put on display

Because she trusted love,

Trusted her heart,

And now many faces she'll see,

Behind this glass, where she lives in melancholy.
