Oh, when the end cameIt was a thief in the nightIt was so sudden
We were not prepared…
We were caught off guardFear was frozen inside usThe sky had fallen.
We thought we had more time…
The end of the worldit finally camejust like the bible said it would. The skiesthey were darkthe air was thick and chokingit smelled of brimstonethe ground shook with every step I made.
If you can, sunshine, look up at the sky.
There you'll see stars, and this all will pass by.
Our world is on fire, but just hold on tight.
I'll sing to you, sugar. Our last lullaby.
The Norns are fear and ignorance and hate.
We kneel to them and so portend our fate.
Below the world, our refuse feeds the well
Of misery and pain by which they dwell.
Through the sky Death shall rise,
On rotten wings will he fly.
With the stench of torture on his clothes,
He sends Fear into all his foes.
Inside the art room I reside,
Sharpening paint brushes
No longer used for art on paper
When I think of the world I'm afraid to look at what it has become.
People struggle through the darkness that has risen all through out the pastures of their very land.
maybe this is the apocalypse
today is april 19th the day after aliens
were supposed to take us
seems kind of unfair of them to make promises
then not keep them
They stare ahead with blank eyes
Like robots, or something more civilized
Not a finger twitches
Not an eye blinks
They stare ahead with blank eyes
Charred among the ashes stirredA people left here uninterred. No beds of peace or roses here;A feast alight for blackened bird.
The Black (pt. 2)
In seventeen years
All the roots have settled
The roots are strong,
They breathe.
In seventeen years
Our sun has curated
Created
Our plentiful harvests
So I'll play my violin
A scale, G scale, D and E
Begins caving.
Up and down the staff
I'll go
As the oceans flood and flow
As the world is burning, burning
I will play what I'd been learning.
I am the last man on earth.
Yet the streets aren’t empty
The wind does not whisper,
Unblocked by bodies to press against it.
I’ve been contemplating for the past three days,Words to describe my precise emotions,And I become embarrassed by myself,For not even being able to, in such a s
The first came on a white horse.
A pure white horse, so it was welcomed.
With open arms and minds.
It was embraced.
It was the illusion of progress, it was wanting more, more, more.
Quietness swept the nation.
The only noise that could be heard was a small ringing sound.
No one talked.
And no one cried.
They just walked.
I used to stay up late at night worrying about grades.
Thinking about my future and how it would kill me.
Thinking about my past and how I could've bettered it.

Where flames of crimson

Once graciously licked our homes

Springs forth a new hope

You looked and behold,
Over the horizon approaching fast,
Engulfed by the orange beauty of the sunset, you saw a man.
A man approaching slowly like a viscous liquid,
And fast as light.
Do you see the bright light? The one that lights up the night?Do you feel the storm? The one from which you are born?Do you know your birthright?-Do you feel alive? For what do you strive?
Nothing is ever what it seems.
The end isn’t here yet,
But you can see everything crumbling around you,
Shattered, battered, tattered.
Gravity is falling—
And everything else is falling apart.
And in the end,
when the stars have all collapsed
and blackholes rule the skies,
when the sun dies and the moon
can no longer reflect its vibrant light,
when the seas take over the shores
At my school where I sit concealed, starving zombies look to devour a meal.
Some like bones and some like brains, but I on the other hand love to play games.
i think the world is ending, or maybe that’s just me.
maybe it’s wishful thinking and not a prophecy.
maybe i am mixing up the dreaming and the waking,
or maybe i’m suffering from the pills that i’m not taking.
The world hangs upon its final threadThe screams of the living are now of the dead. The tears of joy are all but goneThe fear has come, but not alone.
Here I am standing in the shadows of light
Here I am whispering curses and blessings
Here I am standing in the glory of Famine
Drinking the blood of the fallen
Eating the flesh of the living
Boarded up in my house
Doors locked
Curtains pulled
Trying to keep safe
They’re coming
There’s only a few of us left
That hasn’t been sucked in
By the blue logo
Hypnotizing us
Together we fall
Together we rise
Overcome our struggles
And try to survive
The dead live now
And the living die
Our hearts harden
No tears in eye
Do we fight onwards
The world was a powderkeg. Someone lit a match.Sitting on a staircasehollowedout by flames. Stillstanding but standingsurrounded by red-brickrubblejust like everything else.
The day everyone has been discussing is here.
Arguments--some violent, others not--unfold
Will everything perish? Or endure for ages?
Minutes away from the end,
The clock ticks in deafening silence.
When confusion sets
And you lose your bets
The world blinks in stone;
When guardians fail
And morals pale
You think you're all alone.
When leaders fall
And sickness crawls
I failed. There's no time left for this world.
It's just me in my lab sitting on this linoleum floor.
The lab once hailed for its cure
Has now left corpses piled at my door.
A man stalks through the night
Bright lights cower overhead.
Carrying what he knows not, he walks on
Down a deserted alley.
Everything is dark, yet
Finally he sees the end.
Where the grass burns the palest green,
and the sky is charred black and blue,
where mountains roar
as invisible flames lick up their steep sides.
The stars are falling around us yet all i can focus on is the sine of your eyes
The floor trembling beneath us yet all i can feel is the beating of my heart
Fires encompassing us yet all i can feel is the fiery passion of my love
