Is it stupid to believe that you are capable of anything that you set your mind to?
Do some people feel like that no matter how hard you work they may never come true?
Everyday, I see inspirational figures all around me,
People doing great things, every single day,
Overcoming their greatest failures, conquering their fears,
Shine bright like a star in the sky.
So everyone can see you up high.
Far away from the ground.
So they can know what did you do to deserve this.
But they will say it's luck
Moving from Japan to Hawai’i by boat
A long journey, a new beginning
Money was in need and there was work to be done
The sun shined bright, heat became unbearable
Let me tell you about oranges
Their sharp burst of tangy sweet
exploding in your mouth, let me tell you
about the work it takes
to get there.
About the layers and the time
Studying Muddying
Sipping my cup of joe
Working so hard until
The dead of night.
Thanks to my work, I’ve no
Availability
It is so challenging
Staying upright.
Tickity Tockity
I am a Cross Country Runner
We don’t quit,
And we never stop.
I am a Cross Country Runner
We can run forever
Because we run from our pasts.
Love Yourself, Speak Yourself
These are the messages carried through their speeches
In large rooms full of their critics
Under the hawk eyes of netizens
Waiting, watching
Bated breath
Coming up to 7 years of age was a magical time. We smiled,
laughed, and life sailed swiftly by.
Getting to the old age of 8 saw a massive change ahead. My
guardian angel was often missing, replaced with an absent father,
Still in the field.
Bouncing up and down.
Looking back to the left and right.
Darn! Twine broke again, get the gear.
Real hard work
It comes with a price
You lose friends or you lose your mind
It's waking up at 5 am
Going out and starting your day
long before the other side of the world
goes to bed for the night
You mean a lot to me
Not because of your appearance
Not because of the nice things you have
But because you have not given up on me
Thank you for loving me
and continuing to fight for us
It's a sad day
on Lancaster
Get fifty a day
Living this way
Makes for a sad day
Tip toe around
Left out on the ground
No one else but yourself around
Work harder for your dreams
They say.
Believe me, if effort was success
I'd be rich.
Instead I'll punch the clock,
Do the job,
Do the other job,
And studdy the trade all night
So that one day
One time,
Sometime,
There was a non-magical building
In an even more non-magical town,
Where pumpkins and mice
Were as plain as they sound.
There were no Great Stone Dragons
As a child, I went through a very brief period of childhood before I was thrust into a world where monsters are not only very real, but a constant factor I had to face.
I wake up before the sun,
Finish homework,
Pack a healthy lunch.
Can't waste daylight,
There's never enough.
Can't read by starlight,
There's never enough.
She dreamt of silks and colors
However, she grew up looking after her brothers
She served sweets and pastries to pay off anything
However, she received little to nothing
She loved her native land
i stare at my keyboard
while i try to think
when was the last time that i could sing
to the top of my lungs and towards the sky
when was the last time that i tried to cry
Theres a difference between
Calluses and Scars
Suprisingly both are relatively permanent
Both are made through weather and age
But while my scars are put there
By things I did not do
It starts here
Right now
Your determination
Returns
And your goals
Are ever clearer
It's within your grasp
But will you take it?
Your dreams in reach
If you just stretch
Spreading in the air
Like a toxic drug
Dripping with intensity
Soaking in the tub
Lathered with bubbles
Popping one by one
Drifting softly in the air
Wandering without a care
Happiness is the outcome to unquenchable tears which came because of struggle.
The world is sad, the world is bad.
Within, there must be that voice...The one to push you to succeed. For me, it tells me that all is okay,And I need to prepare for what I may see.
I am a river
working hard
always moving
changing everything around me,
while accepting change, myself.
Sometimes I am calm
sometimes I am restless.
No matter,
for I am a river.
Luscious green grass covers the field
It is a battlefield for some
And entertainment for others
I am from sweat and hard work,
from the searing heat of summer
and the freezing chill of winter.
I am from the horse kicked dirt,
and the cattle-branded smoke blowing in the wind.
For several years I was stuck in a rut
It was time for a change, so I trusted my gut
I was doing the same thing for many years
It was time to step out, time to face my fears
It takes baby steps,
I started out crawling at the ground
Wanting to be different, so
I walked into dozens of
Audition rooms to distinguish
My playing from others.
To Be a Animator-I have to focus on the body to the movtion of the wind from the sky to birds to a woman like me.
The Joy of Baking
Do what you love
Never work a day
Alone in the apartment
Just the oven and I.
I bake up a storm
Never stopping to worry
Just cookies and cakes
Life
Live it up
Wake up to a new day
And seize it
Carpe Diem
Seize the day
But which day are you really seizing?
Today? Yesterday? Tomorrow?
Will you go and grab next Tuesday?
Who's to blame? We're all just so different,we take it for granted that we're right;point the fingers at anyone elseand mock the system.Just consider this:maybe we have our own way
Because the American Dream is hardly a dream
Working two jobs, a nightmare it seems
Bills upon bills, taxes upon taxes,
Living middle class, far from the wealthy status.
I Am From A Vast World
I am from a Nintendo world
Save the Princess
Weild a sword
You must have courage to beat the dark lord
I am froma fullmetal heart
Little stream through the woods
How sad and lonely you must be
Tired too though many can’t see
You fight and fight to make it through
And one day when you finally do
In the big ocean you will be
The credits start to run after the images fade,
Everyone agrees it was a great show and leaves,
Not giving much thought to all the work it took to be made.
This is for you.
You know who you are.
The nerdy kids. The smart kids. The,
“she’s just so bright for her age” daughters and the
“he’s always excelled at everything he’s done” sons
The world is changing
And so am I
Gaining new experiences
And learning to get by
I'm growing and thriving
And battling fear
Of being alone
In pursuit of a career
So much is new
You, Me. Were all the same
Live, Die. It's all a frame
We work hard to live happy
But at the end its all wrothless
The meaning of life is deaf
Were here one day and gone the next
