The Parentals

Everyday, I see inspirational figures all around me,

People doing great things, every single day,

Overcoming their greatest failures, conquering their fears,

The success that they see today, brings them joy and happy tears.

Yet the people that inspire me the most,

Are those that provide for me some toast

The hard work they put into raising a child,

Has their child in gratitude that he didn’t go wild.

Started from the bottom and they were there for long

Yet they decided that their kids did not belong,

Worked hard to provide only the best

To inspire in their kids a sort of zest.
