This cup of coffee
Is like the blood in my veins
It's just important as oxygen I breathe
Without it I'm only half a person like a zombie
this substance dependence
The leaves are beginning to change colors as they slowly start to fall and hit the ground,
And the smell of pumpkins and fear fill the air and it travels in the wind all around.
Imagine a world wherein no one had philosophy.
Imagine this world as a bigger world
with more people who were mirror images of their neighbors.
Imagine these images every day
were shattered upon rocks
Take a breath, no actaully take two
Everytime you smile, my breath got short
You was a strong ass drug on me, that snort
I haven't seen a lot but you was the true
One for me, two makes me and you in one car
I once had a dream...
I was with friends I've never seen before.
The Life-of-the-Party friend had a powderd rock discovered by her scientist father.
Flip phones took a beating.
Now the smart phones record what we're eating.
Kids ran all day long and felt as though they could fly.
Now kids spend all day chained to a charger so the phone doesn't die.
Stories told as a child,
Of the dead walking a while.
Today a girl walks on the bus,
Surrounded by people, yet so alone.
Mouth gaped open, eyes glued
Missing the sky that’s shinning blue.
Boarded up in my house
Doors locked
Curtains pulled
Trying to keep safe
They’re coming
There’s only a few of us left
That hasn’t been sucked in
By the blue logo
Hypnotizing us
Once in a castle far away, there lived a princess and she slept away waiting for her prince to come resolve her problems. Too bad the prince was eaten by zombies. In absolute fear the princess soon realized she had woken up from desolate sleep.
every day
zombies walk
lifeless eyes
crushed spirits
fear

Day 1: My feet hit the cold tile and my eyes strain at the board.
I hear your monotonous bore,
I think, I think, no more.
I am just another one of the horde.
Day 2: The straps pull at my back
Together we fall
Together we rise
Overcome our struggles
And try to survive
The dead live now
And the living die
Our hearts harden
No tears in eye
Do we fight onwards
Windows shatter
glass flies everywhere -
They have arrived.
The zombies climb through the window
glass shards carving bloodless scratches
and I, only too aware of the blood pumping through my veins
Do you see her walking alog
She seem to be singing a song
A dead body humming to a beat
It's too bad she's just dead meat
A gunshot wound to the head
To end the life of the walking dead
I cry because I know that I am strongI know that I have grownI have come so far from that girl who used to longStaring out of the window hoping for a world where I belong
Zombies.
Shuffling in a straight line.
Thirsting for the one thing.
Never satisfied.
Zombies.
Draw fake smiles on their faces.
Everyday the same.
They follow the rules, they say their graces.
Inevitable as death, are smile will invert. While God shuns his eyes to unworthy souls not raptured.Addicts to flesh; never sleeping or at rest.Hunting to pray on the hunted ravenously tasting life at the pulse.
You have stayed too longThey are comingYou hear noisess from outsideThe door won't hold foreverYou have stayed too longThey are almost hereYou check the windowsThe glass won't offer and resistance
Its blinking button eyes
Lashes Plucked
Clean conscience lies
Demons of possess
Its ragged red dress
Hides in the shadows; tireless
Awakened by the silver moon
Loom through loom
Walking through the woods, weapons in hand
The group fights the dead in common land
The men are tasked with finding the food
While the women are expected not to be rude
Every new habitat they seek for safety,
I wish my phone would ring
I call home, waiting alone, dial tone screams
my mind's cold behind this blindfold of space and time
I can't escape it I'm
waiting
and like a fine rope this line holds
The destruction it leaves
the people who grieve
Is it worth it to have
a weapon that leaves people so sad?
We need them to hunt
we need them to survive
but some people just have them
