I, Pandora
The queen of Instagram, influencer of all
Adjust my lighting, find my angle
A chime and a swipe, and I see her puckered lips
my biggest competitor, duckfacing for the world
Her eyes were soft
She was beautiful up close
By nature and for no one else
But men desire what they don’t have
Her eyes were panicked
She told him no
Cried for help
But no one came
Once the author of the Trojan Horse,
Brilliant schemer, master fighter,
Once a myth,
Now the best of chess, of course!
Odyssues the leader of the team,
Master of all his opponents moves,
Do you see them?
A shadow of what once was
Drifting in on the tide
Settling into the sleepy sea foam
The earth had spun for many years
Yet equality was offered to very few.
Women started gathering fears
That their equality never would be true.
Soon, however they were set to rest,

Any more sitting-
