Artemis and Her Huntresses

The earth had spun for many years

Yet equality was offered to very few.

Women started gathering fears

That their equality never would be true.

Soon, however they were set to rest,

Artemis appeared with radiant glory.

She would lead them with the best

And help to change the future's story.

Under Artemis's triumphant might

They rallied in the streets.

"Women should have equal rights!"

They shouted through the heat.

At long last the victory was won

The tireless fight was over

The women cheered and one by one

Became a regular voter.

''Onward maidenss!'' The Godess shrieaked

Never counting the cost

Never even stopping to think

of what might be lost.
