Here upon this old woven chair She sits in the land of the inbetween Perched under a wooden sign post The one rooted into muscle that sits between our ribs   There at the very tip toe top  
She’s always been there lurking In the darkest corners of my mind I never thought of searching For the voice that mimicked mine
Morning noon evening night Rise bathe feast and then I lie  Repraise with no end in sight I know the truth so i cry  Stagnation I don't want to lie here with you and die

Eigth grade is when I found out That straight did not define me A single small peck On the lips was that it took.   Oh, how scared I was I had grown up around hate That those who are gay
Dresses I have never worn Lie quietly in dark places That I have never dared to step. At times, I take them out and wonder What it might be like to slip them on and walk them.
The person inside? Its hurt, pain, sorrow, joy, happiness, stories of adventure the voices that want to be raised, to show the world what beauty can be unleashed. The person inside?
Dear Self, Why do you crumble, fold, shy away, and stumble? You are strong, stronger than what you've been told, stronger than you know. Someday you will see. You have been careful,
  As I walk down the hallway wondering. Drifting out the window, I imagine what life would be like in five years.
Broken records on repeat  trying to find a loophole to set me free   Tell me about yourself A loaded question  Never the one with an answer worthy enough  to continue the conversation  
Twenty sixteen Why’d you have to be so mean? All you seemed to bring was bad I never felt so sad I wanted you to treat me good Instead I was like a car hood Protecting everything inside  
My mussel, gaping, black, and blue was forked open   but time tequila    and tension stick us back together.
So focused on blending in to those around you that you never show your own colors.   So focused on fitting into the crowd that you never share your many talents.  
If I was an inanimate object I wouldn't feel the things I feel But If I was an inanimate object Nothing would be quite as real I'd never be sad
Never ending Pure and surreal Rivers and lakes clear as Quartz   Trees of stories Mountains of futures Lands of memories
Upon a golden hill Sat a golden bird With a golden wing Did it cry ‘bout the pain a Broken wing’ll bring   Upon the 7th noon Of the 7th month Sat a fair young man.
To the young boy consuming dreams, keep negativity restricted from your team.To the young girl who stands on her own, you will gain respect and wounds from stones that are thrown. Your instincts will test you from time to time.
I am beautiful like the sea wonderous like a wave divne like the sunset I am gorgoeous in my own right
