Your love is as clear as the Caribbean
You are the crimson Phoenix inside my soul
Love me until my breath disintegrates
We spent night upon nights spitting words laced with toxic until our minds grew numb
but we still said good night and we could feel the warmth
I'm the last person who should give out advice but I'm glad you asked.

Nine years ago you and I had never met
-but you would not have liked me then
I was with others whom I now regret
I wished I had met you all ages ago when I was only ten
love is cared for the same way you do a tulip
you must be gentle and kind like the kiss of a butterfly
you must be patient and hardworking like the noble bumble bee
I see all these theories about love
That say it's constant pain

That say it's the only pure thing in this world
All these conflicting ideas converge and

Don’t worry, I’ve got this,
Drive home safe,
Give me a kiss,
Braiding your hair when your arms are tired
From carrying my worries all day
My fingers twist in your chocolate locks
While you nod off- content and safe
Staying up till 2 a.m.
I need a specific type of love. The type where farts are funny and not disgusting. The type where a date night means burgers, fries, and curling up on a couch while watching some comedy show. The type where his jackets are now my jackets.
Because I love you,
I cannot fall
There is much to do
I could do it all
You have been them for me
When ever I call
Its easy for me to see
Your a protecting wall
If I look at you I can see my future,
The dreamy twilight wrapping us in envied silence, coy smiles and wispy words sliding over unsaid emotions,
The Sign.
They can blind
one's eye and tell a lie
covering the heart of Mai.
Relationships.
With the kiss of one's lip
and the truth be told,
this can create its hold.
Because I love you, the thought of me without you was unbearable.
Being by your side was my choice, little did I know it'd be nothing but a parable,
A parable to warn those who thought, "because I love you" was acceptable,
Human beings,
With soft warm skin,
Galaxies beneath their eyelids,
Are meant to be handled with care.
The label,
‘Fragile’,
Not visible to the eye,
Goes unnoticed by many.
You, however,
Despite who you are, I love you.
Despite where you came from, I love you.
Despite your age,
Despite what you are,
Despite your size, I love you.
Despite your looks, I love you.
