If I could,I would paint a picture of you across the sky—A canvas of clouds for the world to see.The rainbow, my palette, dipped in hues of my heart,To illustrate the boundless depthsOf how much I love you.
the brain is a university bedroom
adorn it how u want
scatter memories like golden fairy lights
circling the sloped ceiling
look how they flicker until
they are reduced to a soft glow
Picture It
If a picture is worth more than a thousand words,
What is the worth of a single word alone?
If a picture is worth a thousand words
A poem is worth a thousand pictures
A thousand realities lie in carefully crafted lines
To some, the word alone brings feelings of peace
Remember the timeRemember thenThat instance,When, oh when
Our youth, when we did what we didDidn’t care, didn’t giveInto the pressures, of parents or peersMan, those timesRemember?
If you had asked me a year ago
A simple question, nothing out of the ordinary
I would have had to say
“Fine. I’m fine. I’ll be fine, just give me some time.”
The
picture
on
my wall
happily
reminds
me
that there
are better
places on Earth
than the world,
that there
is
more to
life; living,
Horse and rider,
Take pace beside her.
Never a faltering stride.
Crucified
In metal and bronze,
A monument meant to stand for eons.
When ever i take a picture i have a hard time smiling,
It's the thought of capturing moments where i should be happy, but my feelings just won't latch.
Forcing smiles for pictures have always been hard for me.
No filter
No control.
I don't choose to look like I do.
With dead eyes.
And an empty smile.
No filter
No control.
I did not ask for this.
My frame too large for photo encasing.
Behind the big picture
Is a small, fragile woman.
Forget the smile
And look deep into her eyes.
Her eyes tell a story.
A story of:
Danger,
Heartache,
Misfortune,
My vanity has become an army
Pictures purporting to show unparalleled perfection
Behind these eyes of mine is a person, just an ordinary person who always feels she never fits in.She takes pictures and finds uplifting quotes to put on her pictures so she can look at them and think she is beautiful.
Who am I? That's a loaded question.
We are all dense individuals, filled like an overflowing dam with ideas, experiences and contexts.
The flash-
The filter-
It's how I hide.
The picture that everyone sees isn't me though
It's just a reflection of this person
That yes looks practically like me
Mr. Clock, why are you so mean?
Every time I'm havin fun time flees,
Yet every time I am unhappy you won't leave.
Mr. Clock, your hands are evil,
They control me in every way.
The world is a canvas
And nature is the painting
All the colors flow together
To create a beautiful picture
The location determines the temperature
While the seasons pick the colors
my soul is an attic;
there are dust particles
floating
and settling
all around.
my memories lie,
scattered upon
decrepit, creaky shelves
and
doubtful, broken staircases.
Staring at her past self
Evaporated Dreams
Waistline Increased
Color Dimmed
Snapshots of happiness
Endless Sunny Skies
Playful Fights
Summertime
How old was she?
The faces fade to ash
Photographs discolored to the sickly yellow
Of rotting buttercups and stagnant sunlight
Captured in dust-coated rooms
Disintegrating into something less than nothing
I saw a picture of you in the mirrorI realize I've become what I fearAmeliorate me, and then you walked awayTie my mouth shut - there's nothing left to say
Inspiration is a way of telling our sorry tales of when we lost hope and gained it back. A way to show everyone and everything that there was a day the pain resided and was left to hang in the air.
I remember you.
Those eyes you have are like fire. They haunt me, yet I cannot bring myself to take my own eyes off of the impossible flame of yours.
