Don't Quit

And just like that, you are back to square one,

Feeling like you have nothing left and that you are already done.

But you have been doing this for too long to give it up now,

And you will never be able to plant the seeds that you worked so hard to sow.

And you will look back one day and regret that you threw the towel in,

And having to live with that for the rest of your life will make your head spin.

There may be times when you need to remember why you began this journey in the first place,

And that if you give up, then you will never win the race.

If you play your cards right, you can make it all come true,

Because you know what you are capable of, and you know what it is that you have to do.

When your head is telling you to let it all go,

You have to continue to move on and not let those feelings show.

It’s okay to feel what you are feeling and admit that you are not okay,

But it is not okay to give up because you will always find a way.

And the time that you want to give up might be right before the miracles occur,

You have come so far, you can’t go back to the way that things once were.

When things are falling apart, maybe they are actually falling back together,

And no matter how it seems now, things will have to get better.
