Scarlet flames of fire
dance across my fingers.
The light cannot harm me,
for I am its master.
Fire bends to my will,
and dies at my command.
The dark can't consume me,
Want to know what you’re made out of?
The answer is simple, but not easy.
It takes a great amount of willpower to start
You've alluded me thus far
Yet ever near do you draw
Just outside the reach of hand
Seperated only by the wallows of man
A mountain compared to the girl
Towering so far above her
She swears the moon dips right below it
Hammer in one hand, chisel in the other
She moves forward on the whispers
Dear Koi,
On one cloudy day I found you in a pond.
The murky waters shimmered from the inklings of light that crept through the clouds.
As I inched closer and closer
To the pond
You approached me.
You can toss me to the ground, enraged,
Think of me as weak.
But no matter how you try to subvert my courage
You may believe you've bested me
Yet I stand.
You can punish me, bend me, injure me,
On a deserted island, here I amDoomed to die, in the sandI won't bring any tears to let cryOr something to hold, like someone's hand.
Your determination and commitment is your life,
How far are you willing to go, willing to fight?
Commit to your husband or wife, stand by their side for life,
Commit to school and follow the rules,
I am
the daughter of a mother who has an uncurable diease
no life long numbing agent that could
soothe and heal it.
It left a faded scar as a badge of honor....
It's. No. Breeze.
I'm lazy. I'm 19 years old and I have been blessed with the ability to dance, sing, write, but I'm lazy. I noticed I only come alive when performing or at parties and it's starting to bother me.
'Flawless' is of flawed design,
I am not perfect, nor are you,
But knowing that my flaws are mine,
And that they've made me strong with time,
I praise myself where praise is due.
Have you ever been told "you can do it," when they meant only if you do it someone else way.
We all have free spirit.
We all decide what we do.
But what we really do is what people expect of us.
Should we let them run our lives
Or should we control our lives to get what we want?
What is the most powerful thing in the world?
Is it the desire to achieve greatness?
Or is it your desire to crawl out of bed in the morning knowing you have to get to class and can't be late?
Will ya look at that pie?
Oh my. Oh my!
Whipped cream piled high.
To die! To die!!
I'm sworn to a diet.
I sigh. I sigh...
With all of my might.
Oh why? Oh why?
I remember the day clearly
bewilderment, agony, pain
I stepped outside, greeted by the harsh, bitter cold
as if the weather knew by
matching the very feelings I held to you
Given every chance the fish will choose the water over the land.
The wolf will choose the brightly lit moon over the daytime sky.
The fantasy will be created.
There is no day without the night taking place afterwards.
