Have You Ever

Location

Have you ever been told "you can do it," when they meant only if you do it someone else way.

Have you ever been told "we believe in you," when they meant except we don't think you'll make it.

Have you ever been told "you'll do great things," when they meant just not good enough to matter.

Have you ever been told "follow your dreams," when they meant the dreams we have for you.

Have you ever been told "God will provide," when they meant just not for you.

Have you ever been told "you can do it," by a complete stranger.

Have you ever been told "I believe in you," by someone you just met.

Have you ever been told "you'll do great things," by an acquaintance.

Have you ever been told "follow your dreams," by someone who has no reason to care.

Have you ever been told "God will provide" by a street corner preacher.

Have you ever told a friend that they can do it, and really thought they could

Have you ever told a friend that you believe in them, and really meant it

Have you ever told a friend that they will do great things, and really thought they will

Have you ever told a friend to follow their dreams, and really thought they would succeed

Have you ever told a friend that God will provide, and really prayed that He would

Have you ever had someone who is meant to believe in your dreams betray you?

Have you ever had someone with no reason to believe in you come through for you?

Have you ever betrayed?

Have you ever belived?

Have you ever betrayed yourself?

Have you ever believed in yourself?
