I only wish I could not feel
because I am too ashamed to.
Some seed in the slumbers
of my soul is alive for you.
When I sleep and eat
It is in these actions
when my mind
makes me realize
maybe a place
called heaven can exist
Lips
breathe the breath of life
save me
from drowning
in an abyss
MY ARMS ARE EMBRACING YOU, DON’T YOUMY MIND IS THINKING YOU, DON’T YOUMY LIPS ARE KISSING YOU, DON’T YOUMY EYES ARE LOOKING YOU, DON’T YOUMY HEART IS NOCKING YOU, DON’T YOU
But you creeped up on me,
Silently.
You enveloped me in your arms,
Holding me in a tight embrace.
Promise me you'll never let go.
You would scream at mom,
as I held my ears closed.
You would sling things,
as I shedded tears.
You used to get angry,
you used to get sad.
If I even said a word,
you would get mad.
I'm really not a good person,
Not a good will kinda gal.
Around the masses my attitude tends to worsen,
But I still make a good pal.
Maybe I'm dark and sarcastic,
Perhaps I'm too quiet or loud?
I ask about love,
And if I can ever find it.
But how can I expect someone to love me,
When I don't love myself?
How can I expect respect,
When I tear myself down?
How can I expect anyone to trust me,
I just want a hug,
To forget about the past
To focus on the present and to stop worrying about the future.
I just want a hug
To forget about my bad day and just lay in your arms for comfort.
I just want a hug,
a kiss is just a kiss until your lips toches their lips.a hug is just a hug until you find the one your always thinking of.a dream is just dream until it comes true and love was just a
cold, crisp air
the night sky, a navy bluefabric
specled with tiny dimonds streatching across the horizon
your chest firm and warm
on my chapped cheek chat presses against it
A kiss is just a kiss
Until you find the one you love,
A hug is just a hug
Until you find the one you're always thinking of.
A dream is just a dream
Until it comes true,
Love was just a word
I am sad,
I am hurt,
I am mad,
These words don’t work!
I feel empty,
I’m at a loss,
I’m insecure,
I’ve lost the toss.
I feel sick,
There’s too much stress,
Am I still your little girl, Daddy,
Please tell me it's true.
I think I grew up too fast, Daddy,
Even though I didn't have a clue.
I tried to grow up for you, Daddy,
So you didn't have to try so hard.
