I didn't want to admit it, but I cried myself to sleep every night this week because of you,
And I know that it is going to continue, no matter what I try and do.
No matter how many times I tell myself not to, I can't stop myself from watching it,
And everytime I do, I am always left feeling like my heart took a hit.
"How did your baseball game?," was the innocent question that I asked that started it all.
When I asked you that, I never in a million years thought that I would continue to fall.
Some of us never really learn to fly
Some birds hop from the nest
Destined to taste earth
Destined for the fall
And some of us stay behind
Afraid to fall like the ones we lost
These Days It Seems That MANY...
Are Showing... They're NOT Ready...

Intermission has failed me.
A trip wire was not part of my blocking-
It left me on my knees.
Broadway lights, turning off with a loud

You said there's no way

But guess what

I've made it
I reached my goals
I'm on my way
I'm blinded by the world around me,
and people point and stare,
but when I look away,
everything's still there,
everyone laughs and cries
The focus of school has turned on us
Administators no longer showing student trust.
As a student I call for a change
Of a society open to not-perfect grades.
Students work hard, day and night
There was a gal named Gailwho said she never would failBut one day she was in jailAnd asked me for bailBut I said the check was in the mailAnd boy did she wail!

So many competitors, not enough prizes
I hope to seek a win in some of my suprises
My ambition to win is higher than most
Although I've been passed by as if I'm a ghost
We go to school, we join the clubs.
We play the sports, say it’s not
I try so hard,
even when I feel I have made some progress
It is for naught.
My line is corrupt.
Don't you see the look?
I glance away

My test didn't have a good score
