The Young Quiet Girl

Location

The young quiet girl with baby blue eyes,

I see her in school,

I see how she hides,

But hides what I dont know.

The young quiet girl who never did speak,

I see her get bullied,

I watched her grow weak,

But how weak I didnt know.

The young quiet girl with her long black sleeves,

I see her get mocked,

I see her get teased,

But how much I'll never know.

The young quiet girl who wanted to die,

I see her get pushed,

I see her cry,

But how long I didn't know.

The young quiet girl who took her own life,

I didn't see it coming,

Didn't see her and that knife,

But how I do know.

The young quiet girl who is no more,

I saw all the signs,

I saw and ignored,

But why I'll never know.

The young quiet girl with bright green eyes,

I sit filled with guilt,

I sit and I cry,

And now I know why.

I am the young quiet girl with baby blue eyes( even though my eyes are green) I have been bullied and teased all my life. I am so far off the edge, I don't know if I can find my way back. I just want someone to realize words hurt. Haven't my bullies had enough?
