As he was growing up with a rough childhood in the Fort Greene section of Brooklyn, New York, ODB and his cousins (Robert Diggs and Gary Grice) formed a hip-hop group called the "Wu-Tang Clan which through music incorporated themes of their times with the symbols from the martial arts films that they loved collectively.
