This is as quiet as it gets
So please don’t break this silence
Just hush down and fall asleep
I promise not to make a sound so you don’t wake
This moment is the calming before the storm
Because absolution is always incomplete
Maybe I’m the one to blame
I’m sorry but I can’t hide this anymore
Because everything we’ve been through, everything about you seems to be a lie
Our whispers turn to shouting
And our shouting turns to tears
You color my eyes red
Your loves not alive it’s dead
You fake every emotion you have
Nothing is ever real to you
And I’m getting sick of your bullshit attitude
And how you have the nerve to walk around like you shine brighter, it kills me
And I’ve had it!
I’m just about filled to the brim with all your lies and deceitful ways
It’s a shame that it had to end this way
It’s not even enough for you to say “I’m sorry”
Maybe next time I’ll look before I fall
So hush, this is where it ends
But I just can’t
It was love at first sight
You had me right from the start
A perfect Cinderella story that ends with a kiss
We were perfect me and you
And I don’t think I have the strength to let you go
This letter’s written itself inside out again
And my hands tremble as I hold it, dreading that you will see me leave
As I sit here in silence, not dare to make a sound
Just please let me be free from you because I know you can’t face the truth
The letter goes back to its place as I go back to mine
My world feels like its been turned upside down and I know I can’t leave yet
I’m not brave enough to do this
So I’ll hush and go to sleep
