Dana never could remember what was proper to say

His only concern ever was to make someone's day.

So when Dana saw a girl, as lonely as could be,

He walked up to that girl, and that girl was me.

"Hello," said Dana, sticking out his hand,

"I'm Dana, and you are far from bland.

I hope that boyfriend of yours treats you right,

If not he'll definitely have me to fight."

"Oh, but I don't have a boyfriend," I timidly said.

That was unbelievable in Dana's head.

It was clear to me from what I saw then

That David was different from ordinary men.

His face was scruffy, and his clothe ill kempt

He talked slowly so I could understand what he meant.

Dana had autism and that was easy to see,

But Dana the Day-maker is no different than me.
