This loneliness is dementing me.

I speak not of the demons veiled behind every corner.

They wait until it's dark

Until I have thought myself into a mad frenzy

Then they show me the past.

What I did

What I didn't do

Who I lost

How I lost them.

In the cacophony of screams

One voice stands out.

He murmurs,

'This was your fault'.

And the loneliness is now unbearable

Because he is right.
