Real Love

I’m honest and genuine when I declare my love for my King.

I love you more than I have ever loved another, you make my soul sing.

This love hit different, deeper, a real soul connection type of thing.

My lips form the perfect smile when describing the joy your love brings.

I’m mesmerized by the sight of you, renewed with every morning light.

No beef, no struggle, only deep conversations bringing about insight.

My body is at its peak, your love making keeps me right and tight.

No red flags, all green lights, down through there, hook slide, right.

The past is the past, we grew threw it, the passion runs deeper now.

How so? I actually love myself now, wow, I repeat, I love myself now!

His love, tenderness, and guidance showed me how.

So much God in him, it would be an honor to write those vows.

Manifesting love, trust, and authenticity for the journey ahead.

No more drama, stunts, or lies; only righteousness instead.

Amazing chemistry on the couch, floor, table, not just the bed.

The part of me I believed to be empty and always hungry, now over fed.

I prayed to God to send me a companion; to him is where my path led.

Bringing out the best in me and of me, the ugly layers have been shed.

He is stuck with me, and I him, in this life, the next life, even when we are dead.

Everyday, I’m falling deeper in love with "my other side of the bed."
