Once there was a man

Once there was a man who left

and his little girl was sad

she cut her wrists and bleed for him

as she wished to call him, dad

there was an incident that spurred the path

the family was split

hearts were ripped

to shreds

The little girl grew up thinking

always thinking

and she was niave

her thoughts got in the way

she sought out love in familiarity

the cold icy grips of a narcissistic love

brought the sensitive delicate flower to her knees

fight or flight then insued

now the little girl is hiding behind a mask

of anxiety.
