Nothing At All

If I were to change something big or small

Would it be my height?

Sometimes I were I were small

But this would only please myself temporarily

No, have confidence. I AM TALL

If I were to change something big or small

Would it be my nose?

Sometimes it looks like it grows

But this would only please the ones who teased me

No, embrace its size & let it be

If I were to change something big or small

Would it be my –

Look, I have to stop

All these thoughts and suggestions

We must stop questioning ourselves

And be in a state we can rest in

Don’t you get tired of trying to be someone you’re not

To wish you were thinner or that you were more smart?

It’s not about what others think

It’s about who you are

Be OBSESSED with your uniqueness

SET your goals

You don’t want to grow up

With too many holes

You want to be filled with completeness

And no man or friends can do that

Outer beauty starts from within

And you’ve gotta find a way to work through that

Some days you might feel stuck

Like you’re left in dark

Haunted by insecurities shadows

But once you stay determined

And run from this place

The light of your world will guide you

So, if I were to change something big or small

It would have to be nothing.

There’s nothing wrong with us

Nothing at all
