Here I am

I am here

Mentally, physically

With love and with fear

 

Myabe Im not the best

At that or at this

But I show up, and I arrive

Which some cannot give

 

Sometimes it's not about

Winning first place

But forming a work ethic

And lifestyle to embrace

 

Realizing that it's more important to learn good habits

Then to ride on something

That could soon become dormant

 

A reverse way of thinking

For our dear friend, society

A perspective that scares

And forever alters our reality
