We all have door with a lock but no key
We all have our secrets, our past, our deeds
We've seen the ups and we've seen the downs
We've seen our loved ones placed in the ground
We've been scared and scarred
We've been battered and bruised
We've been lost inside with no direction
Regrets and memories plaguing like infection
It's like a disease with no cure
It's something we just have to endure
Some of us are better at it than other
If you think about it, it's like black and white vs color
The ones who the world in black and white
Don't see a reason to stay strong and fight
But the ones who see in color aren't easily broken
They're tough, defiant, and keep on going
It's like a race that you cannot win
But you cannot stop, quit, or give in
If you look beside you, then you shall see
That I got you and you got me
And we both have a door with a lock but no key.
