I'm Not What You Think

My story goes unspoken

The pain went unknown,

Determaination set my choice in stone.

I grew tired of the ridicule,

and was angered by my fear.

I'm not who you think I am,

and that day I proved you all wrong.

I spoke my mind,

showed you my courage

and threw away my fear.

I wasn't who you thought I was.

And after all you've done,

I still helped.

You saw my kindness,

you saw my trust.

Even for those who were against me.

And you said sorry.

I had long ago accepted.
