I See You

5 minutes is all it takes for a stranger to see what a wonderful human being you are, to become captivated by every part of you and they've only begun to scratch the surface, which makes me wonder how it's possible that after 19 years of living, you don't. I guess you don't get to see the way your face looks when you're trying to hold back a smile, how it tugs at the right side of your mouth until you finally give in and let that infectious grin steal the show. You don't get to hear the passion in your voice when words of wisdom leave your mouth, but I do. Everyday I'm amazed by you and the person you're becoming. And somehow you've become an outsider who can't fathom why anyone could love this person who cant seem to love them self. But that's because for some reason, a reason I can't for the life of me figure out, you don't see how wonderful you are.
