I LOVE TOXIC GUYS

Cause things got so much harder on the west coast.

When i moved here i realised i needed you most.

One week i had a lover, the next, a ghost.

So now i sit on a blanket by the coast with:

Numb mouth and broken glass,

my head’s in the clouds, better make this fast.

Hotboxed bathroom stalls,

vines around my feet and twelve dropped calls.

Closed in by the cinderblock,

visited heaven, but the gates were locked.

The harpsichord is playing now,

his hand on my thigh, my earbuds playing loud.

Did this take enough time?

I’m stalling for the chemicals in my brain,

just let me know that you’re mine,

the boomerang’s driving me insane.

I’ve said it before,

won’t say it again.

People were born

just for the end.

Haven’t I told you before?

Won’t say it again,

Everything I ever do

is done because I think of you.

I always figured I'd be the one to die alone.

On the street when I forgot,Β

that the city breathes when I do not.
