To Her.

Location

The heart beats like a thousand drums

When in the face of inquiry to another

A yearning soul heard over melodious hums

Taking the chains of fear, he rips them asunder

She ignites the eyes with burning fire

From the beauty of her passionate heart;

His core transfixed with Godly desire,

For God’s creation she is, can it be a start?

Her eyes, calm with living power

Hair like silk made alive in current

Skin, toned and smooth as a flower

Her soul casting love like a torrent.

He speaks of whom he now does face

Her gaze upon him, living and free

One inquiry he leaves her to trace

Will she go to prom with me?
