Dear Nathan

Dear Nathan,

I’m sorry I couldn’t say goodbye or even say hello

I wish I could’ve stopped you

And showed you that you weren’t alone

Or if I couldn’t do that

Maybe even join you

I know you have a spot in heaven

As you make your ascend up

As we all find out

What occured last night

We keep you and your family in mind

As we sadly grieve

Because even if we don’t

Go to school anymore

We will always remember those days that we did

I will remember our friendship

And miss our silly fights

Remember all the times

I beat your butt at four square

Remember those bad days

That we just sit together and cry

Because even those bad times

Are the best memories I have with you

And my favorite times in life

I’m sorry that last night

You decided it was your time to go

You were supposed to have a long life

Where hopefully we could’ve hung out again

I’m not ready to say goodbye to you

Or our memories

But Nathan if only you could’ve read this

Before you decided to go
