Dawn of a Green Day

What's wrong with the radio?

It's playing lies.

Everything is, "Sex and money!"

Where is the truth?

Why can't it feature better bands, like Story of the Year?

Every word and note they play consists of blood, sweat, and tears!

Their songs speak of equality, they scream against our strife.

So many, like me, can agree their songs once saved our life.

"Doesn't mean we're bound for life"

What happened to you, Hayley?

"We can't stop and we won't stop"

Dear God, make it end!

"Sticks and stones may break my bones, but chains and whips excite me"

No...

Yes, I could change the station

That's not the problem

How many people listen to this stuff

And don't care about what is said?

I wish more cared about the lyrics

Pop just isn't working

And I swear, I'm gonna vent my spleen

If I see somebody twerking!
