Clues

Location

How can you not tell when someone is crying out to you

As if they don't give you any clues;

When you are known for happiness but filled with sadness

When you're trying to figure out this world through all this madness

You're scared to tell people how you feel

Because no one in your family has ever listened or been real

Sure you give me privileges, opportunities, and a lot to be thankful for

But does that mean that I should automatically respect you and kiss the floor

It's so hard trying to please you

It's like you're trying to make me into somebody new

Not feeling loved at home is probably the worst feeling

While you lay in bed at night and stare at the ceiling

Every day is a battle with yourself

Wondering is it me or someone else

I've tried to believe that everything happens for a reason

But I'm beginning to lose faith season by season

The fact that I'd rather not be at home

Says something on its own

I've learned to love and be loved

And surround myself with people who inspire me

Unfortunately those people aren't at 5469 Grand Prix...
