You know the girl who looks like the sun?
Who's skin is like silk and who's looks tend to stun?
Who's lips look like roses and taste like sweet sparkling wine?
White Daisy,
so delicate
so pure of touch.
Deadly promises
and broken ways
turned your
once pure soul dark.
What created
the blackness
now coating,
covering the white?
One day I picked a daisy
Full of life and flower dreams
Some may say I’m crazy
But I'm telling you it sings
Tonight it hums a playful tune
where were you on my 10th birthday when i got bruises instead of birthday cake
IT WAS A BLESSING IN DISGUISE HE SAID
I DONT WANT TO HEAR ABOUT ANOTHER BLESSING IN DISGUISE
why is it so hard for u to look me in my eyes
Is it not interesting, the way a single daisy grows through a crack in the sidewalk?
Layer upon layer of cement and sweat and exertion were
Smoothed into place there and were never meant to be disturbed my man’s efforts.

It wasnt love at first sight before
more like friendly meetings at the movies
just like gum stuck on a shoe we stuck to each other
And I sat there
My world... a daisy
And watched the petals fall off
One by One
On my deadening flower.
Why, my daisy,
Do your petals droop?
Fading, falling to the ground?
And why, my daisy,
Do you bow down to the wind
When gusts growl and roar with rage?
