Light streaming--yellow, white,

Opaque kisses whispering goodnight,

Succeeding back into the earth,

Slipping down beneath the grass’s skirt,

Darkness yet not prevailed,

Stars yet to gleam--curtailed,

Lambency dusk and dawn,

Thinking of what lays beyond,

Daisy drops of summer nights,

Luminescent wondrous sight.
