Dear 10 year old me,
Just because you got hurt does NOT mean you can wreak havoc on my life now,
you were once my person
I didn’t expect amazing things
I knew how you felt
and how you didn’t
but I didn’t need your wings
They tell me I love to quick
Because when I fall
He's never there to catch me
I just want somebody to care
Somebody to fill my open wounds
Stich me up and say they love me
Little girl, don't be scared
From the past you have dealt
The horrible things from hell
Won't hear the nasty words he yell
