A friend once told me To wake up early And look up to the sky. The golden sun would light up The purple winds. Revealing the hidden creatures above,
I see them, my parents The effort they put into everything, working hard. Working hard for me They endured hardships that I could not imagine Without them, I would be nothing.
We all know how it goes 'Once upon a time' to 'happily ever after' The same words, the same stories, the same messages spread: 'Some day your prince will come' 'Believe in magic' 'Follow your dreams'
Standing at attention Our eyes filled with pride Air filled with suspension Drum majors salute side by side.  The first step, all as one
I see the person in the mirror each morning and cast them aside, Because every day I shed the skin of yesterday to become amplified.
Yeah, let it be they say But nah, what’s the point of it? When life isn’t rife with objectives   You got to hand it to them, what’s life without discipline?
I am curious and hardworking. I wonder if people see me the same as I see myself. I hear the voices of my peers. I want to help others. I am curious and hardworking.
