I want not
a wolf in sheeps clothing
a diamond in the rough
a fancy french wedding
I want only
SIMPLICITY
not a bouquet of the finest roses
a single lilac
picked from the front yard
Today I am happy.
Tomorrow, I'm happier.
But when is the right time?
In the morning we're grumpy
and sour and sweet.
In the monring we're tired
but don't eat the meat.
We slurp smoothies.

Your love is my satisfactionMoney that I have or could haveKnowledge that I have or could haveWealth that I have or could haveStatus that I have or could haveBlessings that I have or could have
Changing yourself, just to better yourself, just to destroy yourself in the end.
Now, your strugging to find the beginning.
But, where did you begin?
"More, more." They say,
"More, more."
These voices won't stop
This emptiness won't be filled enough
"More, more." These voices continue to say,
"More, more."
More of what?
More friends.
I met a shy girl once.
We were at a night club on a karaoke night.
I challenged her to shots and she said,
"If i get drunk I might be tempted to sing."
"Would you sing if you were sober?" I asked and she said,
In my early 20's,
When I was a simplistic University student of the Law,
One of my less popular professors
Romanticized dinner table conversations,
So much so I felt,
That the apex of my life would entail,
That bright day bursting with promise,
That bright morning beautified by golden sunrays,
When my heart is light,
When I walk with my head held high,
To me, that’s a good day.
Chasing the future, consumed in the past,
With thoughts that never last
Forgetting the present I see at last
All I need is some Satisfaction.
Shooting down time, marooning hate,
Chasing the future, consumed in the past,
With thoughts that never last
Forgetting the present I see at last
All I need is some Satisfaction.
Shooting down time, marooning hate,
I watched the darkness;
dissolving, morphing, quickly
receding from the fruity light,
as if rejected medicine.
Left behind for an identical,
"More, more" they say, "More, more."
These voices won't stop.
This emptiness won't be filled enough.
"More, more." These voices continue to say, "More, more."
More of what?
More friends.
More money.
I am everything and everything is me
I am what you make me
but also who I decide to be
I am life and life is me
A small part of this world who dreams big
But within me lies the universe
Pursuit to gratification rises all the time.
Subconscious mind always over me,
Saying no-no go on until the thirst is quenched...
My patience bursts unhappy when not met fulfillment,
Some people love chocolate, sugar, and cakes
But I must say that I love dates!
Icecream, coco and peppermint
don`t satify me, no not one bit.
surly if I am healthy,
I also will be wealthy.
ACCEPTANCE©
Glenn Johnson
Today longing burst into the blooming of acceptance.
For how many eons . . . into how many worlds
The rain dropsnot from the clouds, but from the Heavens above. They drip from the treetopsand drop from each branchand nestle into leaves, glisten on webs woven tight fromspiders at night,
I am luring you in with my sarcasm,
I am provoking you with my ignorance.
My horns peek from underneath my hair as I receive the satisfaction of watching the anger grow within you.
This fog gives me a sweet sense of what is to come,
While the sun is hiding, ready to take its course.
I am ready, for my story has just begun.
We drove through the evening blueness at a rapid pace,
streetlights and buildings blurring to join the smear of stars.
The moon was a sliver, the smirk of a watchful stranger
given to those who glance uneasily his way.
I reached into the sky
But found nothing that I wanted.
I excavated the sea
Till I touched the bottom,
But found no rest for my desire
I walked along the earth,
Depleted, and alone,
