there is something pressing down
on me
this wight in and on
my chest.
i think i may be
six feet under
the rich black earth
and i am suffocating
as i try my hardest
Fear.
Embarrassment for most,
failure for me.
Insecurity I’ve been diagnosed;
never felt like I’d make it...
success I’m an absentee.
No matter how hard I work.
I just smile and smirk,
What do you feel when you hit success
Can't trust these voices that come inside my head
Well I feel success deep in my chest
I'm glad that I passed the test
