Why have we named our emotions?
To an extent that we need to name
What we feel when we feel it
The constant necessity to tell people
Of the love, hate or rage
Burning in our hearts
But how do we know
I'm crying in the closet
Over a girl
How Ironic
That now is the moment
That I want my mother most.
I was shaking on the ground
When I started to stop,
I raised my head up
The limitless space has a way of making you feel hopeless
Earth’s gravity pulls you, compels you
Its gentle tug is enough for you to let go, dropping your items one by one
I feel like I am drowning. Silently burning underwater
every time I try to breath, I remember
I must conserve my air.
Force it back.
Stay alive for just a little longer.
Read between the lines,
Something I have just learned,
Some people try to hide,
Behind powerful words.
For some it's difficult,
To find the correct vocabulary,
For vocal expression,
The future
Is a scary thing
Looming before
Me.
How I wish to embrace
The unknown.
To make it
My own.
These days I find myself
Drifting apart,
I bottle things up
Hold everything in
I don't know why
Then, I hit the breaking point
I suddenly feel everything
All emotions at once
No one around to see
Is it the best way to be
