This little light in me
Lost between the forgotten colours
Stuck in the never ending waters
Drowned with the words in the wind
Cries with rays and lightining and swords
This little light in me
In the little time we have shared
you have yet to cross me,
but if I say "yes"
my tears are at risk.
That may not seem fair to you
but it doesn't have to be
because I am fragile
You told me to never give up on my dreams.
To reach for them,
To learn from them,
To embrace them,

Now I know many people say that and then go on to say things like,
but have an end goal. Yes that is nice, but end goals change.
Here I stand, 17 years old and hungry

Hungry for power
Desperate to prove them wrong

They that criticize me
They that don't believe in me
