You never think twice.

Fri, 04/26/2019 - 17:01 -- daisys

I've acted like clay.

I've shaped myself and even bent myself backwards.

I've done that for a person who doesn't think twice about me.

I've converted my dull image into a mysterious, intriguing one.

So many arguements with my old friend were in vain.

All for someone who doesn't think twice.

I think we were both lost and bored.

So, that's why we let ourselves fall into that spiral hole.

But now, I realize that I can't save you.

Your personality and actions stay with you, they always will.

And, they can't be changed.

And, when you look at me that way, nothing special comes from it.

You just can't believe a person like me would care about a person about you.

She told me you lack motivation, and wow those words match exactly.

So, no matter what I do or how I make you feel, you will never come after me.

You don't even have the next 20 minutes planned out, so why would you have the next 2 weeks planned out?

I just hope you have a good future, nothing more nothing less.

I really felt; "I've acted like clay. I've shaped myself and even bent myself backwards." I personally can relate to this poem and thought it was beautiful

Thank you! It’s always frustrating to be the one initiating things and making plans. It’s like I’m forcing something on someone who’s not even putting in the bare minimum.
