Yellow

This is how it goes:

You are yellow

you know most

embrace the color

your small eyes.

But I am not!

I am more than that!

I have eyes, yes! So do you!

I am neither small nor large; I am stone

I am loud for truth and burn that cage as should you!

They scream and they hate; they look only at the glass built

I speak with a silver tongue and leave that bitter taste behind! No longer shall I respond to your work!

Let my life be my own! black and white? Nay! Colorless!

Do I not breath the passions of life just as you? Do I not scream that pain so full of dread?

Look past your own desires; shed those glasses full of fog

My eyes are small yes, but yours are vanished

When the sky begins to fall  are we not the blood of all?

Unite people! Awaken and disrupt ! For the nights are long and the days have darkened

We wear thin, we break down

Begin your song

Begin our song

Unite
