The Winter I Was 17

Location

The winter I was seventeen
was a moment of trying times.
I was cold and under pressure,
and was trying to find my life's reasons and rhymes.

A new chapter was upon me,
as my story started to unfold.
But along with my sudden realization of change,
I was worried that some parts would never get told.

The last four years of my life were planned for me,
but the future has the potiental to be all it can be.
