What we thought the Future would be

Thu, 06/28/2018 - 04:23 -- SP0KEN

What we thought the Future would be.

Gargantuan ships

Dwarfing

Golden Arch bridges

What we thought

The future would be

Low Swooping planes

Soaring

Sky-piercing buildings

What we thought

The future would be

Elegant Limousines

Riding

Trains of Bullet

What we thought

The future would be

Sleek sharp boats

Piercing

Pristine Clear water

What we thought

The future would be

Gargantuan Cruisers

Dwarfing

Harbour Bridges

Not our dreams

But still a future

High flying Airlines

Soaring

Gray Polluted Cities

Not our dreams

But still a future

Petrol Choking Cars

Riding

Electric Ambling Trains

Not our Dreams

But still a future

Small dinghy boats

Piercing

Polluted abyssal Ocean

Never in our dreams

But always a future
