We are women

Thu, 10/19/2017 - 11:08 -- Kacia

We have trembled against men,

We have feared the rise of men

Yet we continue to shout

We shout our rights,

We shout our rights to be equal

We beg for our rights to be heard

Yet nothing, yet nothing

We have quiver against the voice of these superiors

We have shaken because of defeat,

Yet we rise regardless,

Yet we rise to better

For we are women

Time has been our enemy

Through history, we fell

Through protest, we soar

Through death, we grow,

Yet our voices fade,

But you can prevent the inevitable

The inevitable of our revolt,

Our revolt to the Summit

For we are women

The time has come for our rights to be heard

To be listened to, To be recognized

For we are women

We are strength, we are compassion

We are courage, we are philosophy

We are power

We are Women
