The Way I See It

Sun, 04/27/2014 - 22:29 -- JGILL1

I don't even know you, dude. But here we are.

Brought togther by fate? Naw. I don't think so.

Maybe something stupid you did. Maybe someone stupid who did it.

I'll be straight with you. You stay straight for me.

I don't know you dude but in a moment I'm gonna see through you.

See inside you and read your thoughts. I can see what you're thinking.

Is it painful to be so exposed? I don't feel it.

But I feel for you, sometimes. Sometimes I do.

Sometimes I think "What the hell?". But you won't see that.

It's my job to picture you this way. Take a snapshot or two

and then send you back to deal with what's happened.

Secrets and unknowns are no longer yours. They are mine. But don't worry.

I'll keep 'em for you. You're safe with me. I'll keep you shielded..

A smile. A laugh. Still lots of questions. unanswered. provoking.

But then you're gone.

I don't know you dude, but I know about you. More then you know about you

More then you want to know about you.

I hate those days. The images burned in my mind.

And I cannot share what I know, because I don't know you, dude.

The way I see it? There are no secrets. Just skin and bones and veins and clothes and objects where they shouldn't be.

And I can see it all with just the click of a button.

The hum of machines giving me Superman powers.

Just hold still and be straight with me.

Then on to the next shoot.
