Pause
Now go back to living
Like my dad did on rice and grits
Lost many and gained few to none new buddies
I don't call them friends
Trust and depend on them first
To rip apart my back and front
Faithlessly pray for ointment to smear over my shame
Constantly reminded that tears and blood shed strength
While holding your emotions just shows the extent
Of Your stamina and endurance protecting the air
Serving as your source of spewing bull disguised as truth
Take your words and cover those back and front wounds
Stop carrying your own burdens and share it with the world that currently loves lurking
