Tale of Time

A lullaby drifts on a distant breeze

Sapphire’s twinkle in the light of his eyes

Dust settles down like the my tears when they cry

While a sweet silent shiver drips down from the skies

The sun strikes the earth as the air begins warming

My eyes meet with his as a smile begins forming

His hair seems to glow as it shines in the light

My eyes can’t stop staring, try hard as they might

The dark turns to dawn in the blink of an eye

Butterflies flutter their wings passing by

I can feel his hands spreading warmth on my skin

I can feel something new is about to begin
