Star-Crossed Stupidity

Location

We were Romeo and Juliet,

My depression and me,

Me and my depression.

A tragically beautiful romance

Of star-crossed lovers,

Kept apart by

therapists, psychiatrists,

and antidepressants.

Unable to unite

in death.

Two years after reading

Romeo and Juliet,

I decided it was a stupid story

And there is nothing beautiful

and everything tragic

about

death.
